GIVE A GIFT

The Welman Project serves as a FREE resource for the Fort Worth community. We rely on monetary donations to continue our mission to fill a classroom, not a landfill.

Dollars at The Welman Project don’t buy new things. Dollars to The Welman Project are an investment in making the most of the resources already available to support the needs of our educators and students. Your gift goes further because it's not spent just handing out supplies. It's spent working directly with a teacher to match the right free materials to their classroom to make the maximum impact.

The Welman Project is a 501(c)(3) charitable organization. Your gifts are tax deductible and immensely appreciated. EIN 81-1116926

“Because of The Welman Project, my kindergartners have a classroom filled with creative play! They will fall in love with books, stories, and pretend. They will develop socially, emotionally, and creatively without even knowing it, and they will work harder for their classroom teacher because they'll be motivated to come to school everyday. THANK YOU for all that you do to support teachers.”

VOLUNTEER

We absolutely couldn't function without the support of our incredible volunteers! Seriously, we'd just be curled up in a corner crying about the number of teachers who desperately need supplies while perfectly good stuff piles up in a landfill. Overwhelming, right?! Not if we all work together! Anyone can make our community stronger by giving their time, and we’d love for you to spend that time with us.

We offer plenty of opportunities for all skill and age levels throughout the year, and we can provide credit for student volunteer hours through any of our programs. Please note that we cannot accept court-ordered community service volunteers at this time.

Strap on your party pants (and maybe some work gloves) and join the fun. Karma points guaranteed.
