Choose from our menu of most excellent offerings for folks of any age. From bug enthusiasts to fairy aficionados to fashionistas and architects, be our guest as we guide your group through the wondrous world of maker mayhem. Offerings are open-ended fun for a unique-to-u experience, and your party people will dream out loud using out-of-the-box materials paired with out-of-the-ordinary tools.

What makes a party at The Welman Project different from all the other party options I’ve Googled?

At The Welman Project, we don’t believe that one size fits all, and our superpowers are thinking outside the box and coloring outside the lines. Creating and making should be personal and reflect who YOU are and what YOU like, which is why our parties and workshops are designed so that each guest feels that the art they produce is authentic to them and completely unique. 

Everything we do is centered around the practice of creative reuse. We see the possibility of what something could be, not necessarily what it is. Through the creative reuse of materials, we’re keeping great stuff out of our landfills AND encouraging a more exploratory approach to art making. 

Party On & Give Back

When you party at The Welman Project, you’re directly supporting free materials and resources for teachers across DFW. Our mission is to fill a classroom, not a landfill, and we accomplish this by operating a totally free warehouse for teachers where they can shop year-round for everything from pencils to books to furniture to wine corks and quite figuratively everything in between. Did I mention that everything is FREE for these hard-working educators?

We source materials from local businesses that have surplus items creating a social ecosystem that lessens the financial burden on teachers and reduces waste in our community. It’s a beautiful thing, and when you party with us, you’re an integral part of keeping that ecosystem thriving.

Parties are 2 hours, bring your own food and drink (compostable tableware provided)

$250 minimum for up to 8 kids, $25 for each additional kid

15 kid maximum, must have at least 2 adult chaperones

First of all, YOU ARE CREATIVE. One of our main pillars as an organization is to provide a safe and welcoming space for people just like you to express themselves, get messy, make mistakes, play with new materials and tools, and, maybe, learn a new skill. Plus, you’ve got us, and we’re trained creative cheerleaders who will make sure you go home with a piece that you love.
